The alleged mastermind of the Janakpur bomb blast that killed five people two years ago have been arrested on Saturday.
According to the police, Mukesh Chaudhari, the main suspect of the gruesome bomb explosion at Ramananda Chowk of Janakpur on April 30, 2012 , was arrested by the Indian police in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday night and subsequently handed over to the Central Investigation Bureau in Nepal.
Accused Chaudhari, who was also wanted in Nepal for his alleged involvement in the murder of media entrepreneur Arun Singhaniya in 2010, had owned up the Janakpur bomb blast in which over three dozen other people staging a peaceful protest demanding separate Mithila estate were seriously injured.
Police have said that accused Chaudhari would be made public after the completion of initial investigations. Chaudhari was carrying out criminal activities across Dhanusha, Mahottari, Siraha and Sarlahi among other districts by forming a group called Tarai Student Liberation Front.
