DANG, DEC 30 - A man taken under custody on charge of murdering his father has committed suicide in Dang district on Monday morning. SP Sarad Kumar Khatri of Dang police said that Giri Raj Khanal, 29, of Saigha-7 of Dhandanda in the district hanged himself with shoe laces in the toilet of the police office at around 3 am this morning. Khanal was accused of killing his father with an axe over land dispute on December 15. Police said that Khanal had buried his father and fled after the incident. He was later arrested on December 20 from Ghorahi.
