6 KG सुनसहित भारतीय नागरिक विमानस्थलबाटै पक्राउ :: Indian national arrested with 6 kg gold from Airport !!
Mohammad Sanood (22), of Kerala State of India, was arrested in possession of 6 kg of gold along with 15,000 Dirham in cash during a random security check at TIA yesterday night, airport security chief DIG Gopal Bhandari told.
Sanood had landed at TIA from Dubai by Fly Dubai Air yesterday.
१ माघ, काठमाडौं ।दुबईबाट नेपाल आएका एक भारतीय नागरिक ६ किलो सुनसहित पक्राउ परेका छन् । मंगलबार राति साढे १० बजे फ्लाइ दुबईको एयरलाइन्सबाट आएका भारत केरलाका मुहम्मद सनुदलार्इ पक्राउ गरिएको भएको विमानस्थलका प्रहरी नायब महानिरीक्षक गोपालप्रसाद भण्डारीले जानकारी दिए ।
उनले सुन आगमन भन्सार क्षेत्र पार गराएका थिए । तर, पार्किङ क्षेत्रमा निस्कने क्रममा प्रहरीले शंका लागि जाँच गर्दा कम्मरमा बाँधेको खैरो रंगको कपडाको पेटीभित्र लुकाएको एक–एक किलोका ६ बिस्केट भेटिएको थियो । उनको साथबाट १५ हजार ५ दिरामसमेत बरामद भएको छ ।
हम्मद पहिलोपटक नेपाल आएका हुन् । डेढ वर्षदेखि आबुधाबीको एक वर्कसपमा एकाउन्ट काम गर्ने उनी यसै साता केरलाबाट दुबई गएर दुबईबाट नेपाल आएका हुन् । उनले उक्त सुन नेपाल हुँदै भारत लैजाने उद्देश्यले ल्याएको प्रहरी दाबी छ ।
KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Police nabbed an Indian national with 6 kg of gold along with UAE currency notes 15,000 (Dirham) at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Tuesday night.
Mohammad Sanood (22), of Kerala State of India, was arrested in possession of 6 kg of gold along with 15,000 Dirham in cash during a random security check at TIA yesterday night, airport security chief DIG Gopal Bhandari told.
Sanood had landed at TIA from Dubai by Fly Dubai Air yesterday.
Six gold bars were found stashed inside a belt used for backbone pain that he was putting on.
Police have taken Sanood under control and investigating on him.
The security check at TIA has been stepped up of late after the cases of gold smuggling were found.
