Nepal-India Int'l Industrial Fair-2014 to be held in Birgunj

Preparations are on to celebrate the Nepal-India International Industrial Fair- 2014 as an industry, commerce, technology, agriculture and medicinal herbs promoting event. The fair will kick off from February 13 to 20 in Birgunj. The Fair is organized by Birgunj Chambers of Commerce and is supported by Government of Nepal, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Cottage, Home and Small Industry Development Fund.
 The organizers aim to promote local products. As many as 200 stalls of various products will be put for display in the fair, said Ashok Kumar Baidya, chairman of the fair organizing committee.  It is expected that over 500 thousand people will visit and a trade of an estimated 200 million rupees will take place during the fair, said Pradip Kediya, senior vice president of Birgunj Chambers of Commerce and Industry. 
Likewise, various seminars and discussion programmes related to tourism, agriculture and local market will be organized on the occasion, organizers said.
