Air Kasthamandap escapes accident in Bajura

BAJURA, FEB 19 - Four days after the fatal crash of Nepal Airlines in Argakhanchi district, an aircraft of Air Kasthamandap averted an accident while landing at the Kolti Airport in Bajura on Wednesday afternoon.

The 9N-AJB aircraft that took off from Nepalgunj ariport this afternoon had its rear tyre punctured during landing at the airstrip of Kolti Airport.

However, the pilot managed to take the aircraft under control in spite of the defect, averting a possible accident, police constable Ramesh Rai informed.

There were 13 people, including two crew members, on board the plane.

Kolti Airport is being blacktopped.
