210 million rupees projects begin in Baglung

Two agreements have been signed to run projects in Baglung Municipality under the Town Good Governance and Development Programme and Emerging Town Project.
The works were moved ahead as decided by the government to run the project in six municipalities of the country with World Bank aid three years ago.
Two projects have gone in global tender process as per the government decision for upgrading town ring road and upgrading of Dhaulagiri Martyr Memorial Park.
The projects were run with agreement between Nepal and IDA of World Bank signed on December 19, said Baglung Municipality Executive Officer Haridutta Kandel.
Ring road upgrading will cost Rs. 206 million and memorial park Rs. 15.2 million, he said.
There will be 123.6 million rupees government grant, Rs. 61.8 million loans, and Rs. 20.6 million town contribution as per 60, 30 and 10 percent grant, loan and town contribution model.
