PMO secy directs stakeholders to expedite road repair work
After visiting the site on Tuesday, Secretary Baskota directed to use alternative options if problems were seen in the transportation system while carrying out the maintenance .
Secretary Baskota also said that RCC structure was the best alternative to make the highway systematic and secured.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the delay in the ongoing construction work, Baskota vowed to take action against the contractors if they failed to carry out the maintenance works on time.
Earlier this month, Secretary Baskota had visited the road section and had directed to expedite the maintenance work.
Traffic system at Jhyaplekhola, Khatri Pauwa, Sikrekhola and some other areas of the segment are mostly affected due to slow progress in the construction work.
